I'm trying to track down the heater fan controller for my Citroen C5 Estate (03)
The blower now only works on full blast. In the past, in other cars I've owned, its the rheostat which needs replacing. I'm guessing that the heater fan controller/heater resistor is the same thing. Since I've been looking, I can only track down the part which is for the C5 with the climate control system. Now I don't have an automatic climate control just a "manual" one. i.e. turn the knob and the fan blows. I gather that the Valeo part as mentioned in the other thread is for the climate control version (I wish I was looking for this as it seems to be the only part I can find relating to the heater blower.) My garage tell me that it's a dealer only part (pricey) which will need to be ordered in if they are to replace it, they never got around to checking what the part number was though (helpful... I know) Does anyone know what part I'm after and where can I get one, other than a dealer? Cheers Dom |
