hi, here I have Mazda Tribute 2002 Airbag module. I have opened it and kinda expected to find 8 pin eeprom ( I have seen peugeot module crash data erased). There is no one like that one :o . Anyway module has number on it :

1L84-14B321-CAED38 57K3X

I have added photo of the module. Is the data stored in the 16 pin chip in the right hand side on top? It has numbers on it: T 102RB U6269B 45 M 101

I'm awaiting for my willem programmer (new toy :D ) and maybe some one could help me with this one? Maybe someone has a dump for it?

Any help will be appreciated :)

Hello, looks like its a Texas Instruments F320 DeVinci Processor from the picture.. Not many people has a programmer to do those. There is a tool to reset it in Honda by OBD2 socket, as this was the main deployment of the TI-F320 processor.

Its a 32bit MCU and it was originally under a industry standard Non Disclosure Agreement, but now its info is public domain.

I have a DeVinci 2000 series programmer, so it is likey we can do these.. but I have never seen one in a mazda, so the data will be unknown to me also.

We can look if you would like. (The ChipGods)

The module itself is made by ford, as everything else in this Mazda, Ford Escape is exactly the same as Mazda Tribute. It would be great if you could take a look at it, cause I'm stuck with parts for this one badly :o .

Where should I send it, and how much would it cost to reset it?
